It is an essential element.<\/p><p><b>\u00a0 \u00a0 1 January \u2013 more than a change of calendar.<\/b><\/p><p class=\"p1 translation-block\">Although New Year\u2019s Eve does not, in itself, produce legal effects, <span class=\"s1\"><b>the New Year is often the starting point or the cutoff point for important legal deadlines<\/b><\/span>, such as: limitation periods, contractual deadlines set by calendar years, and tax or administrative obligations reported for the previous year.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">A simple oversight regarding the date can make the difference between exercising a right and losing it.<\/p><p class=\"p2\"><b>\u00a0 \u00a0 Contracts \u201cspeak\u201d at the beginning of the year.<\/b><\/p><p class=\"p1\">Numerous contracts provide for automatic renewals, tariff adjustments, renegotiation clauses, or termination by operation of law at the end of the calendar year.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">For this reason, the beginning of the year is a key moment for analysis and decision-making.<\/p><p class=\"p2\"><b>\u00a0 \u00a0 The New Year and legislative changes<\/b><\/p><p class=\"p1 translation-block\">Not by chance, <span class=\"s1\"><b>many legislative changes enter into force on 1 January<\/b><\/span>.<br>Whether we are talking about taxation, labour law, or administrative procedures, the New Year draws the line between the old legal framework and the new applicable rules.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Adapting quickly to these changes is essential in order to avoid risks and sanctions.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><b>\u00a0 \u00a0 Therefore,<\/b><\/p><p class=\"p1 translation-block\">Revelion is a celebration.<br><span class=\"s1\"><b>The New Year is a legal milestone.<\/b><b><\/b><\/span><\/p><p class=\"p3 translation-block\"><span class=\"s2\">In law, as in life, <\/span><b>a new beginning is not merely symbolic \u2014 it is also legally relevant<\/b><span class=\"s2\">.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pentru majoritatea oamenilor, Revelionul marcheaz\u0103 un moment simbolic: final de an, \u00eenceput de drum, noi planuri.
